Data Overlaps Using Lexmark Printer

Data in, garbage out? The form prints OK, but your data is garbled.

We've seen this issue with some Lexmark printers. The problem is easily resolved by changing the print mode to RAW before printing your TurboTax return.

Select the link that identifies your computer system:

Windows XP or Windows 2000

Follow these steps to change the print mode in Windows XP or 2000:

  1. Select  Start, then Settings, and then Printers and Faxes.
  2. Right-click your Lexmark printer, and then select Properties.
  3. On the Advanced tab, select the Print Processor button.
    The Print Processor window appears.

  4. On the left side of the window, select WinPrint, and on the right side, select RAW.
  5. Select  OK.
  6. On the Properties window, select Apply, and then select OK.
  7. Print your TurboTax return.

Note: After printing your TurboTax return, change your Lexmark printer mode back to LEMF.
