Adobe Acrobat fails to open in Safari browser for printing

When using the Apple Safari browser to access TurboTax Online, Adobe Acrobat Reader will not open when you try to print your return. This most likely happens because Adobe's PDF Viewer for Mac OS X does not run correctly on Mac OS X versions earlier than v10.3. See www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/331040.html for additional information. Follow the instructions below to solve this issue.

Uninstall Adobe, then reinstall
  1. Sign out of your return and then quit Safari.
  2. Uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  3. Reopen Safari.
  4. Reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  5. Sign back in to your return, and then try printing again. Adobe Acrobat Reader should open with the return.

If the issue persists, please sign in to TurboTax Online using a different browser, such as Netscape 7.x, Firefox 1.x, or Opera. (See TurboTax Online Browser Support.)
