Can I print my return after uninstalling TurboTax?

TurboTax Online

If you purchased and filed your return with the online version of TurboTax, a PDF version of your return has been saved in the TurboTax Vault. In order to access your return, you will need to use the Member ID and Password you used to create the return.

Past online returns (tax year 2005 and earlier) that were completed, paid for, and filed are stored as .PDF files in the TurboTax Vault. Here's how to access them:

  1. Go to www.turbotax.com and select Sign In.
  2. From the Sign In screen, enter your Member ID and Password, and then select Sign In
  3. On the Access to Past Tax Returns screen, select the return you want to view, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

TurboTax for tax years 2005, 2004, 2003 & 2002

For the above tax years, TurboTax includes a feature that allows you to save your tax return as an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). If you saved your tax return in a .PDF format you can open it without reinstalling the federal TurboTax software.  TurboTax for tax year 2001 and earlier cannot be printed after uninstalling the corresponding TurboTax version. If you need to print a past-year return, reinstall TurboTax and then update the program before printing.
